This week our hostess is CHERYL!!
Her challenge for you this week is THINGS WITH WINGS!! So pull out
those fairies, sprites, butterflies, superheroes........then create a
card (with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp) and share it with us here! Get
creative! Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE
to see your KKS designs. We hope you can play along for your chance to
WIN some Kraftin' Kimmie rubbah!!!
I used the uber cute fairy sitting on a cloud from the Fairy Friends set. I also used one of the sentiments from the set, 'You're a Fairy Good Friend', punching it out with a circle punch and adhering it onto a scalloped die. I used Early Espresso dark brown for my card base and for framing the image layer. I left wider borders on the brown and did some white faux stitching around the edges. I haven't done that in years and I do like it. I'm afraid that, true to form, I have forgotten which patterned paper I used as I picked it out weeks ago. I put some Glamour Dust on her wings, put a pink and brown butterfly in the top corner and some satin ribbon across the centre. I'm not often pleased with my cards, but I am fairly happy with this one.
